2010- Born a new road legend, a GTO. From the family of 599, this is the apex of the Prancing Horse’s road-conquering and V12 evolution. It is the most powerful and ferocious road car produced by Ferrari. Called the 599 GTO, its 6.0-litre V12 pumping out 670 horsepower and sprint from 0-124mph in under 10 seconds, 3.35 seconds climb from 0-62mph and with the top speed of 208mph. Staggering. Ferrari 599 GTO is the third GTO built by Ferrari in their 63 years of road car building business. The first GTO surfaced in the year of 1962, equipped with 3.0-litre V12- Ferrari 250 GTO. In 1980s, Ferrari 288 GTO came into the limelight as the second GTO, built with a 2.8-litre 400 horsepower twin-turbocharged V8.
The car and the GTO badge it carries bring the iconic legendary status. GTO stands for ‘Gran Turismo Omologato’. Omologato means homologation. Basically, this car is the homologated version of the track-only, ‘super GT’ Ferrari 599XX. Does this mean this is the road-legal version of the high-end 1.4 million pound sterling development of the 599XX? Could be. The 599 GTO has the same sophisticated tyre technology and fastidious aerodynamic honing as the 599XX, as well as the catalytic converter. 599 GTO also inherited the smaller but more efficient carbon brakes, a thinner aluminium roof and bonnet, all manner of carbon aero and trim and new, and also a thinner glass. That’s just on the surface.
Ferrari 599XX is built with the most sophisticated, advanced technology a car ever had. Set up like a fly-by-wire fighter jet, it is devised dynamically far superior to a normal car with its electronic systems switched on. Called as ‘relaxed stability’ in Eurofighter fighter jets’ technology, the computer control intervenes constantly to maintain the aircraft trimmed in normal flight that is impossible to human ability. Manoeuvrability wise, it is way beyond compared to aircraft designed to be naturally stable.
The chassis agility is the same as those belongs to 599XX; the suspension design is integrated with ESP (electronic stability control) systems to ease and assist the driver into, through and beyond the apex of a corner. This mean the car can lap a circuit faster with the stability system turned on than it’s off. The set-up of the GTO is an F1-derived traction control system integrated with an electronic differential known as F1-Trac, the same technology applied in both the 430 Scuderia and the new 458 Italia-equipped with advanced ESP and SCM2 suspension control. 458 Italia uses magneto rheological dampers that could convert the viscosity of a fluid within a damper in reaction to a magnetic field, giving instant reaction to the road surface in a millisecond time. Sounds sophisticatedly-complex, this magneto rheological suspension systems eliminate all under steer, allowing the GTO to operate on and beyond the limits of adhesion.
Compared to the standard 599 GTB, the GTO has trimmed 100kg lighter and the power up by 50 horsepower. The gearbox is from the 599XX, achieving 60 milliseconds of shift times. Sounds ridiculous? Yes to someone who’s a Luddite (a person opposed to new technology) but it isn’t. Call it a staggering, stupefying revolution, paradigm shift of technology.
New Red big boy is in the town, proudly flaunting the Prancing Horse insignia. Described with triple ferocious of exciting, brilliant and fast by Top Gear’s Bill Thomas, Ferrari 458 Italia is the latest supercar in Prancing Horse’s range. Media says it is the most beautiful Ferrari, to date.

On the Ferrari’s Fiorano test track, the 458 Italia is reported faster than the Enzo. Well, that’s according to Ferrari’s management. Not to forget the handling, this 562bhp 458 Italia is further boasted as the best handling mid-engine Ferrari of all time. It is equipped with E-diff electronic differential and F1-Trac traction control system that is said as the pinnacle in its class to produce power.
As for now, Ferrari can be proud with their new Red baby with 562bhp 4.5 litre V8 that revs up to the astounding figure of 9,000 rpm and sit back relaxing while waiting for the next respond from Lamborghini, perhaps. Will the next Gallardo please ‘stand up’?
Wohooo...everything is back on track..supposed..new semester,new beginning.This semester could be the heaviest ever me.hmm..quite pack.4 continous hours for the first 2 days of the week and 5 continuos hours on Wednesday.But still the luckiest thing is I have a place to stay in.Irony to that, my bicycle got stolen. And i have to work my legs' muscles to endure a 15-minutes journey.Anyway, that's not a problem for me, although i am already retired from all adventurous and adrenaline-triggering activities.During my secondary school days, I played hockey, table tennis for the school teams and trained taekwando every week until i am honoured with a Black Belt, camping-crazy with the scouts until i obtained the King's Scout badge.
So, will that quater-hour walk enervates my energy? Certainly not. And that's a very brilliant idea to help me keep fit, healthy and strong. Simbiosys...

The Raptor is manned by a crew, with lenght of 62 ft 1 in (18.90 m) , wingspan of 44 ft 6 in (13.56 m) , standing tall at 16 ft 8 in (5.08 m) and 840 ft² (78.04 m²) of wing area.Its empty weight is recorded at 43,430 llb (19,700 kg) while it can loads up to 64,460 lb (29,300 kg). That's mean this aircraft is capable of carrying 21,030 lb ( 9,600 kg) of payloads. The maximum takeoff weight of the Raptor is 83,500 lb (38,000 kg) . Powered by 2x Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 Pitch Thrust vectoring turbofans powerplant, with each generates 35,000+ lb (156+ kN). The fuel capacity of an aircraft isn't measured by the mean of cc as in cars. The fual capacity of F-22 Raptor is 18,000 lb (8,200 kg) internally.Yes..internally. With 2 external fuel tanks, it can stores up to 26,000 lb (11,900 kg) . Now you would like to have a car with external fuel tank eh?
Avionics-wise, the Raptor is equipped with RWR ( Radar Warning Receiver ), sensing capability of 250 nmi (463 km) or more.Additionally,a separate radar could tracks 125-150 miles (200-240 km) against 1 m2 (11 sq ft) targets (estimated range)
The speed of the Raptor is at a staggering Mach 2.25 (1,500 mph, 2,410 km/h) while in supersonic mode and Mach 1.82 (1,220 mph, 1,963 km/h) in supercruise speed. The range of service is reportedly as far as 1,600 nmi (1,840 mi, 2,960 km) with 2 external fuel tanks with combat radius of 410 nmi (471 mi, 759 km) and ferry range of 2,000 mi (1,738 nmi, 3,219 km)
Synonimously to its name, the Raptor has a service ceiling of 65,000 ft (19,812 m) . Flying high...This aircraft carries 1× 20 mm (0.787 in) M61A2 Vulcan gatling gunn in starboard wing root as basic self-defense, capable of firing 480 rounds. To engage in dogfights or eliminates air targets, the Raptor is armed with 6× AIM-120 AMRAAM and 2× AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles. For ground missions, it is equipped with 2× AIM-120 AMRAAM and 2× AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles to protect itself from ground anti-air. As optional, it can loads either 2× 1,000 lb (450 kg) JDAM ( Joint Direact Attack Munition) or 2× Wind Corrected Munitions Dispensers (WCMDs) or 8× 250 lb (110 kg) GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs
Unlike other fighters, the Raptor carries its armaments internally. However, 4 under-wing pylon stations can be fitted externally to its wings to carry 600 US gallon Sargent Fletcher drop tanks or weapons, each with a capacity of 5,000 lb (2,268 kg)

Its been a long time since i login my Yahoo Messenger.Very are my friends..all i can see IS strangers and they don't even bother to reply if i initiate the first message.OK...most of them,strangers i mean, are girls.But then...so what?i am not interested in building a relationship this way, not gona start a courtship...even if i asked personal questions,i am meant to be FRIENDS.i am not that desperate after all.Girls are everywhere.The conundrum is....if i upload a picture of me with a Ferrari 360 Modena and it is viewable, will they reply?or will they prompt me with a hello?And do you really think i own a Ferrari? Ohhh...I haven't finish with Audi R8 story anyway.The V10 version generates more horsepower than the V8, 518bhp @ 8,000 rpm compared to 414bhp @ 7,800 rpm, with kerb weight of 1620kg and 1560kg respectively. While the V8 version hit the century in 4.4 seconds, the V10 did it in 3.9 seconds.Audi R8 V10 whips up to 196.4 mph (316km/h), far better than its V8 brother's 187mph (301km/h)
Speaking of lateral acceleration,the V10 produces 1.2G, meanwhile the V8 generates 1.01G. Reviews from Top Gear placed it in a proud position with a 'sublime' in handling, outperform both Lamborghini Gallardo and Aston Martin DB9 on their test track. To make it clear,since this is a factual blog,Audi R8 is powered by both V8 and V10 internal combustion engine.So there are 2 variations of Audi R8,Audi R8 V8 and Audi R8 V10.Audi R8 was initially equipped with 4.2L FSI V8 2xDOHC engine.FSI-Fuel Stratified Injection.Audi R8 V10, armed with 5.2L V10 2xDOHC engine was unveiled on the 9th December 2008.
